HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

iOS version

 Tested with iOS versions  4.3, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1  iOS 4.3 or later IS REQUIRED!  (App version 1.7+).  This is an Apple requirement (not Dashboss) for all App submissions since the rollout of iOS 6.0.  Apple will reject any submissions that support the older iOS/hardware versions.  This affects the HARDWARE requirement listed below.

Hardware

 iPhone® with ARMv7 or later processor which includes:

  • iPhone® 3GS
  • Phone® 4
  • iPhone® 4S,
  • iPhone® 5

iPad® with ARMv7 or later processor which includes:

  • iPad®
  • iPad2®
  • New iPad® 3rd Gen (Retina display)
  • iPad Mini®
  • iPad 4th Gen (Lightning connector)

iPod touch® with ARMv7 or later processor RUNNING iOS4.3 or later … which includes:

  • iPod touch® Gen 3 (only 32Gb and 64Gb models)
  • iPod touch® Gen 4
  • iPod touch® Gen 5

**iPod touch® and iPad® WiFi will NOT HAVE GPS functions available, however “Location Services” if enabled may be used for approximate positioning.

FCC WarningThe DashBoss Gateway has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These standards are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when these devices are operated in a residential environment. These devices generate, use, and can radiate radio frequency energy and may cause harmful interference to radio communications unless installed in accordance with this User’s Guide. However, there is no guarantee that intereference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is obligated to mitigate the interference at his or her own expense. The user is encouraged to try to correct any interefence by relocating the unit or consulting an expert radio or TV technician. The equipment compies with FCC radiation exposure limit set forth for uncontrolled Environment.
